At Pure Stretch, our focus is body awareness. We teach “Physical Intelligence” and emphasize the importance of Knowledge of Body and Body of Knowledge, without which, the client will not transform or rebalance as readily.
Flexibility Training is the core aspect of our unique Motion Dynamics™ system. The mobility trainer will quickly identify soft tissue resistance, adhesions, or fascial restrictions, which impair normal movement patterns.
Following Flexibility Training, we proceed to Stability Training. Clients are taught where joint and soft tissue weaknesses exist, concentrating on rebalancing the musculoskeletal system with light but targeted assisted resistance training to “switch on” deficient muscles and tissues. Stability is the ability to resist undesired movements.
Flexibility and Stability lead to Mobility, that is, the ability of body joints to move effortlessly without restriction. The optimal state of mobility is “Frictionless movement,” and this is our ultimate target.
