No More Unwanted Ink

Tattoo removal now for the first time. Tattoo removal with Fractional Q-Switch is a high-powered laser that can deliver energy within the absorption spectrum of a wide range of colors. Unwanted dark and multi-colored tattoos can be safely and effectively eliminated with laser tattoo removal treatment. Using a combination of laser wavelengths that target different ink colors, high-intensity light beams break up the ink particles in the tattoo, revealing clear, ink-free skin with minimal risk of scarring or hypopigmentation.

How Often Do I Schedule My Laser Tattoo Removal Sessions?

Your next treatment should be no sooner than 8 to 12 weeks. Once you receive your first tattoo removal session with Pure Health Beverly Hills, the laser immediately works its magic to break up the pigment. Thereafter, your body is responsible for eliminating the ink. It does this as a natural process of metabolization and blood flow, but it needs 8 to 12 weeks to fully resolve targeted ink molecules. Each laser sessions breaks up only a certain amount of the tattoo, so you will need to return for successive treatments until the tattoo fully resolves.

What If I Have Dark Skin?

Any skin tone and type can receive laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal.

What Type Of Tattoos Are The Easiest To Remove And Who Is The Best Candidate?

Those with medium to fair skin tones are best candidates. Tattoos with dark, shallow laid ink are easiest to treat. Areas closest to your heart resolve and heal the fastest. Each individual pigment is comprised of a different kind of metal and will react differently to the laser. Professional tattoo inks that do not have titanium dioxide or iron oxide are easier to treat. Tattoos performed by amateur sources are the hardest to resolve. Typically, the older the tattoo, the more sessions it could take to remove. Those with immune system deficiencies heal the slowest, so more treatments will almost absolutely be needed. Those who smoke will also need more treatments to rid of the tattoo. White ink cannot be treated. Yellow ink may never fully resolve. Women who are pregnant or breast-feeding will not be treated for tattoo removal. The easiest colors to remove thoroughly are black, dark blue, gray and green. Colors such as light blue, purple, aqua, pink, brown, orange and yellow may never fully fade away.

How Many Treatments Will I Need To Remove My Tattoo?

With all tattoo removal treatments, we suggest a minimum of 6 sessions at least, spaced 8 to 12 weeks apart. While many may see outstanding results after just a few treatments, there are cases and types of tattoos where one may require more treatments to fully resolve. The Alma Harmony XL Q-Switch tattoo removal laser targets pigment, so the particular color and type of ink to be removed largely determines how relatively easy or challenging the tattoo removal process may be for your unique tattoo. How many treatments you will need vary on a couple factors of the tattoo you want treated: -The color of the ink -Your skin tone -Any scarring that may be present -The amount of ink that was used.

Is There Any Downtime With Laser Tattoo Removal?

After a tattoo removal treatment by Pure Health Beverly Hills, the area is bandaged and completely covered. You are advised NOT to swim, sauna, sunbathe or go in the ocean post treatment. This is because when you receive a treatment, the area of the tattoo that has been targeted will immediately appear slightly “puffed” up; this happens when the pigment is targeted, and the resulting heat is in the process of being eliminated from the body. This slight raised area should resolve within a few minutes to a few hours post treatment. In some cases, this could last up to a few days. In some cases, you may see redness, swelling, blistering, peeling or flaking. You may also see a scab form. You should never pick at the scab or pop blisters. Surrounding skin is unaffected. It usually takes about 3 to 6 weeks between treatments for the body to absorb the shattered pigment fragments. Once the area has completely healed weeks, you are ready to continue your treatments. We generally suggest treatment no sooner than 8-12 weeks. Our highly trained, medical professional staff will be able to answer any concerns you may have in between sessions, if needed.

How Long Is A Tattoo Removal Session?

This treatment requires numbing. Numbing time is 30 minutes. The session itself could take as little at 10 minutes depending on the area size being treated.

What Are The Potential Risks With Laser Tattoo Removal?

There have been cases where the tattoo removal requires multiple sessions, often as much as 20 or 30 treatments. And in some cases, the tattoo remnants may still be visible after repeated treatments. In some cases, a scar may be left behind tattoo removal treatments. This can be treated with alternate laser treatments when tattoo removal sessions are completed. Those with deeper skin tones make the process more challenging. Unfortunately, sometimes hypo pigmentation (loss of skin pigment) can occur. Although this doesn’t happen with most clients, it is possible. In cases where the skin tone is deeper, we are always very careful to proceed safely with each treatment in order to keep the risk of hypo-pigmentation to a minimum.
